  • The state of Thuringia does not collect any tuition fees. However, students are required to pay around 240 Euro per term (status in April 2021) as "Semesterbeitrag". This charge then includes transportation in all regional buses, trams and trains.
  • Also, under certain circumstances, the State Parliament of Thuringia introduced additional long-term fees.

Admission requirements:
Students are expected to have an interest in an interdisciplinary environment. Previous knowledge in computer science, mathematics, natural or engineering sciences to a certain level is also expected. More precisely, a background in linear algebra, calculus, stochastics, and numerics as well as in programming, algorithms and data structures are desired.
